WHAT HAPPENS AT THE FESTIVAL
At the heart of our organization is the Annual LunART Festival, a vibrant, week-long celebration of music, art, and ideas. Every year, the Festival offers a kaleidoscope of events: immersive concerts, interdisciplinary performances, panel discussions, youth outreach, and exhibitions that connect creativity with today’s most pressing issues. From spotlighting historically underrepresented composers to premiering boundary-pushing new works, our programming celebrates and calls to action.

LunART creates pathways for women composers to be discovered, developed, celebrated, and heard. Through the Call for Scores, Composers Hub, Composer-in-Residence program, and annual commissions, we give artists opportunities to grow, create, collaborate, and shape the future of music.
Each year, we commission women composers and visual artists to create original work for the Festival, expanding the repertoire and bringing new voices into the cultural conversation.
