Annual Educational Program for Emerging Composers
Application Period for Composers Hub 2022 is now closed!
About Composers Hub
The LunART’s Composers Hub is an annual educational program designed to provide extraordinary experiences to women-identifying composers in their growing professional careers. This program, taking place during our Annual Music Festival, gives six composers the opportunity to receive mentorship from an established composer, hone their composition, and see it performed at the festival.
Private lessons and masterclasses with the composer-in-residence, and workshops with Festival musicians will explore the works submitted by participants, while talks and lectures about collaboration and the role of the independent composer will offer participants a well-rounded approach to their own career development.
In order to offer personalized attention for the participants, no more than six composers will be chosen for the workshop.
What is included?
2 masterclasses with the composer-in-residence.

What past participants say about the program!
It was wonderful to have the opportunity to meet a lot of performers. As a composer, building up the network with performers is essential for the future possibilities. The masterclass with Jenny was so helpful to learn how to build up the professional career.
It was a fantastic experience. The music I listened to in the evening galas inspired me, and I learned a lot from them. Iva and Laura were terrific (They made the festival perfect!!). I was so grateful to be part of the festival!
This festival was wonderful. I loved the programming for all of the concerts and the exposure to all of the music by female composers. The Composers Hub was enlightening and encouraging. Thank you so much for all you are doing with this program.
It felt amazing having the opportunity to share valuable life and music experience with other woman composers. Specially hearing Valerie's such inspiring history and extraordinary music.
