A global opportunity for women composers to have their music heard, performed, and brought to life at the LunART Festival.

LunART’s annual Call for Scores opens the door to women composers around the world, giving new and established voices an opportunity to bring their music to the stage.

Each year, composers from across the globe submit their work for consideration. Selected composers join the LunART Festival community, where their music is rehearsed, performed, and celebrated alongside artists who share a commitment to expanding the classical music canon.

Since 2018, LunART has received hundreds of submissions from women composers worldwide—and brought their music to audiences through live performances, recordings, and lasting artistic connections.

We especially welcome works by contemporary and living composers and encourage women composers at every stage of their careers to submit.

I was so grateful and honored to be a part of the 2023 LunART Festival. Surrounded by other women composers and listening to their stories and music, we knew we became lifelong friends and supporters of each other. It was a one-of-a-kind experience for me. The LunART team’s talent, musicianship, hard work, passion, support, and hospitality were all top-notch. I absolutely loved the vibe, and I hope I can be there again!
