DIGITAL MARKETING INTERN

Position Overview:
LunART is seeking a Digital Marketing intern who is looking to gain experience in a nonprofit arts organization. This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in careers in arts administration, communications, music, dance, theatre, social justice, and/or digital marketing. This one-year internship will support LunART’s mission to celebrate and uplift women artists through engaging and strategic social media efforts.

This is a flexible remote position, 5–10 hours per week. Compensation is $1,000, paid in two installments—January and June. We are looking for a creative and motivated individual to join our passionate team, with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the operations of a nonprofit arts organization.

Reports To:
The Digital Marketing intern will report to LunART Founder and CEO/Artistic Director, Dr. Iva Ugrcic.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and schedule engaging content for LunART’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

  • Help plan and execute social media campaigns to promote events, fundraising, and community engagement

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media insights and trends to inform strategy

  • Collaborate with the creative director and other team members to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity

  • Engage with followers and constituents 

  • Lead efforts with content creation, including graphics, short videos, and reels (graphic design skills a plus!)

  • Attend weekly virtual team meetings and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong written communication and storytelling skills

  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and best practices

  • Interest in and understanding of branding, marketing, and audience engagement

  • Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

  • Basic graphic and video editing skills are preferred but not required
