LunART’s annual Call for Scores invites women composers from around the world to submit new and recently written works for consideration.
Selected composers become part of the LunART Festival community, where their music is rehearsed, performed, documented, and celebrated alongside exceptional artists and fellow composers.

Who Can Apply
The Call for Scores is open to:

Women composers of all ages and nationalities

Cisgender and transgender women

Composers at any stage of their careers

Composer-performers
Your submitted work must:
-
Be under 15 minutes
-
Have been written January 1, 2023 or later — if you are updating the eligibility year for the 2027 cycle

Be scored for 1–6 performers

Strings
String quartet | Violin | Viola | Cello | Bass
Woodwinds
Wind quintet | Flute (piccolo, alto, bass) | Clarinet (bass, B-flat, E-flat) | Oboe (English horn, oboe d’amore)
Bassoon | Saxophone (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone)
Brass
Brass quintet | Trumpet | French horn | Euphonium | Trombone | Tuba
Voice
Any voice type, as a solo vocal part or a member of an ensemble.
Priority will be given to pieces written for a treble choir as part of our new initiative, LunART Choir.
Piano
If your work includes prepared piano, all alterations must not harm or permanently alter the piano in any way. Please contact us for more information.
Percussion
We accept handheld and melodic percussion instruments. If you have other percussion instruments involved in your piece, please contact us about the intended instrumentation.
