2022 CALL FOR SCORES WINNERS

2022 Call for Scores Winners.png

We were thrilled by the level of interest, and were inspired by the creativity and diversity we saw in submitted works. We received over 220 compositions from women composers around the globe! This was by far the toughest decision for our Call for Scores to date.

After careful review, our panel of twenty three judges selected three pieces, which will be performed during the festival from May 31- June 5, 2022 in Madison, WI. We are delighted to announce the 2022 LunART Call for Scores winners:

KATIE JENKINS: Collage for alto saxophone and piano
ULA GOLDSTEIN: En Rêve: Suite pour piano for piano solo
YUTING TAN: birds that sing at night for flute/alto, clarinet/bass, violin, cello & piano

All winners will receive a $300 cash prize in addition to their piece being performed at one of our gala concerts, and professionally audio and video recorded.

We are grateful to all applicants for sharing their music and the LunART vision of supporting, promoting, and celebrating women in the arts. Join us for our 5th season and hear their music!

More info about the winners coming soon!
