Position Overview:
LunART is seeking a Marketing Coordinator intern who is looking to gain experience in a nonprofit arts organization. This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in careers in arts administration, communications, music, dance, theatre, social justice, or digital marketing. This six-month internship will support LunART’s mission to celebrate and uplift women artists through engaging and strategic social media efforts.

This is a flexible remote position, 5–10 hours per week. Compensation is $500, paid in full at the end of the internship. We are looking for a creative and motivated individual to join our passionate team, with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the operations of a nonprofit arts organization.
Reports To:
The Marketing Coordinator intern will report to LunART Founder and CEO/Artistic Director, Dr. Iva Ugrcic.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Help plan and execute overall marketing and social media campaigns to promote events, fundraising, and community engagement

Develop and schedule engaging content for LunART’s social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook)

Create a paid social media marketing campaign for events (Google, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).

Monitor and analyze website, paid ads, and social media insights and trends to inform strategy

Collaborate with the director and other team members to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity

Engage with followers and constituents

Lead content creation, including graphics, short videos, and reels (graphic design skills a plus!)

Capture media during live events

Attend weekly virtual team meetings and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
Qualifications:

Strong written communication and storytelling skills

Familiarity with major social media platforms and best practices

Interest in and understanding of branding, marketing, and audience engagement

Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
-
Basic graphic and video editing skills are preferred but not required
